Role Description
The Business Development Manager drives new business growth by identifying opportunities and ensuring alignment with client needs and contract terms. They work closely with internal teams to support local setups, manage tenders, and oversee smooth handovers. The role combines office-based and international travel, focusing on strategic expansion and effective resource allocation, all while upholding Airswift’s quality standards.

The Business Development Manager drives new business growth by identifying opportunities and ensuring alignment with client needs and contract terms. They work closely with internal teams to support local setups, manage tenders, and oversee smooth handovers. The role combines office-based and international travel, focusing on strategic expansion and effective resource allocation, all while upholding Airswift’s quality standards.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and evaluate their viability and potential.
- Implement business strategies in conjunction with other Airswift departments to ensure compliance with service, contract, and client expectations (e.g., local registrations, company setup, in-country operations).
- Work closely with Account Managers and the Recruitment Manager to ensure resources are available and properly allocated across the Recruitment team.
- Ensure involvement in all new development opportunities regardless of origin, handing over day-to-day responsibilities at the appropriate time.
- Liaise with satellite offices and support operations from a business development perspective.
- Manage tender responses and submissions in conjunction with other Departmental Managers.
- Keep senior management informed of progress toward agreed targets.
- Conduct business development both face-to-face and via phone, with travel, including international, a major component.
- Operate in line with Airswift’s quality processes and procedures.

- Chemical, Infrastructure or Renewables experience.
- Advanced presentation and reporting skills.
