Role Description

As a Sales and Recruitment Consultant at Airswift in Houston, you will play a key role in driving new business development and expanding sales opportunities across North America. Your primary focus will be to promote Airswift’s services and build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, helping them achieve their strategic goals through effective staffing solutions.

Principle Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the identification and development of all new business and sales opportunities within North America.
  • Promote the services of Airswift and build lasting and productive business relationships that are mutually beneficial. 
  • Demonstrate to the client how Airswift adds value in achieving their strategic goals.
  • Develop and Maintain a hotlist of candidates in the market and vertical designated to proactively sell them to prospects daily.
  • Display a positive and determined approach to identifying new business opportunities using leads, business networking, relevant research tools, region-specific targeting and cold calling.
  • Responsible for debt resolution and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the necessary parties have the right information to collect client debts.
  • Accountable for the interaction, training & development of the Delivery Centre to cover all delivery needs across the client portfolio.
  • Develop opportunities with clients by maximizing, implementing and maintaining a sound marketing strategy. (Including advertising, networking, Chamber of Commerce and other industry specific organizations).
  • Ability to negotiate newly signed contracts in tandem with Airswift’s legal team, to ensure the best overall terms for Airswift
  • Works effectively with the client and candidates to facilitate job interviews and placements.
  • Meet sales targets (KPIs) which are agreed with the Sales Director. Monitor and review monthly sales performance against forecast.
  • Highlight successes and explain variances.
  • Constructively work with NA management team colleagues to ensure and maintain an efficient flow of communication with regard to business opportunities and activities under the area of responsibility.
  • Oversee the utilization and cost of all equipment, tools, and materials for assigned projects; manage the cost-to-benefit analysis for assigned projects.
  • Manage the definition, scope, design, and implementation of projects in liaison with customers, vendors, and internal company stakeholders.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with standardized workflows to effectively manage project delivery within the contracted scope, timeline, and cost to ensure a first-class customer experience/product.
  • Monitor, review, and report monthly sales performance against forecast.
  • Network with internal teams to define system improvements in order to optimize operations and improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Senior management team to ensure and maintain an efficient flow of communication.
  • Full adoption and maintenance of the candidate management system.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of sales experience with the following skills: Leadership, people management, team building, strong management budgeting and planning.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of successful sales delivery in a Recruitment business.
  • Knowledge of the Energy sector.
  • Ability to network effectively at the senior level.
  • Account Management experience with a proven record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to embrace the Airswift culture and values, practices and processes but bring fresh and new ideas to move the company forward.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to regional client work sites.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
