Role Description

The VMO Lead plays a critical role in overseeing the strategic delivery and value realization of key transformation initiatives as part of a two-year, enterprise-wide change program. This opportunity offers a unique opportunity to lead high-impact change, working at the intersection of strategy, delivery and value management.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and governing delivery frameworks, tracking benefits, and supporting the successful execution of transformation projects, ensuring measurable outcomes within the program timeframe. You will drive delivery outcomes that directly impact financial and operational KPIs, including cost efficiency, productivity and margin improvement.

The VMO Lead ensures transparent tracking of benefits, alignment to business outcomes and consistency in delivery excellence. This role partners closely with portfolio managers, product managers, vendors and delivery teams to elevate project performance, optimize resources and support long-term enterprise value creation. This is a time-bound opportunity to embed sustainable delivery practices and drive value that extends beyond the life of the transformation program.

Principle Accountabilities:

Value Management & Governance
  • Establish value management structures for all initiatives to ensure stakeholders understand expected and realized value
  • Define and enforce delivery standards, governance frameworks and performance checkpoints
  • Track and report value realization at both product and project levels
  • Establish value metrics aligned with core business KPIs including placements per recruiter, fill rate, timesheets and invoices processed per staff, and reduction in manual effort to demonstrate measurable impact.
Delivery Health & Performance
  • Monitor project risk, compliance, and delivery performance across the portfolio
  • Conduct delivery health checks, post-implementation reviews and audit readiness assessments
  • Proactively identify and lead recovery actions for at-risk projects
Capability Building & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement of delivery and execution practices across programs, projects and change initiatives
  • Identify automation opportunities and delivery process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase data quality.
  • Lead organization-wide training and upskilling for project delivery disciplines in partnership with L&D
  • Develop and implement delivery playbooks, templates and training frameworks
  • Support organizational change management by helping teams adapt to new ways of working, ensuring change is adopted and sustained across the business.
Vendor & Resource Oversight
  • Support supplier and vendor performance management across all transformation efforts
  • Track and optimize internal and external resource utilization
  • Coordinate with delivery and functional leads on resourcing risks and capacity planning
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of delivery expertise, strategic thinking and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams. We particularly value candidates with strong internal knowledge, networks and a commitment to supporting enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Proven experience in enterprise portfolio/program management and value realization frameworks
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Expertise in risk management, change leadership, and delivery assurance
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders across business and technology domains
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Passionate about delivery excellence and transformation impact
  • Experience working with global teams and vendor ecosystems
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in building Power BI reports and other dashboards
  • Solid understanding of Airswift’s internal structure, delivery environment and stakeholder landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational dynamics and build trusted relationships
